This verse is on the inside: “Our memories take us to pleasant places who see the wildflowers”

History of Sugar Cane is on the back of the card:

Sugar Cane is pale green cane that turns purplish-red when exposed to the sun. It is a type of tall grass from whose juice is obtained.

Full of sweet juice and makes a “Delicious Syrup”, called Ribbon Cane or Molasses. Also it is soft enough to chew, which makes it a favorite!

It was first brought to America by Christopher Columbus.
